The yummers civil wedding

It was exactly November 4,  2012 when Alfred and I got married, It was a simple celebration here in Singapore where only two of us and some of our new found friends who have attended the simple celebration. I have always wanted to dream about my wedding. But somehow things doesn’t go on the way we want them to,God sets some plans which may be not chronologically orders as to our plans but he for sure he always listens.

Looking back it may not be grand as we want them to be but it was one of the best day of my life, it was indeed a happy celebration.

So how do plan a wedding in 2 weeks?

Here are the requirement of getting married outside Philippines:

Documents for the Solemnization of Marriage at the Philippine Embassy

(Original and a photocopy of each document must be submitted to the Embassy upon application for marriage license.  The original documents will be returned to the contracting parties after solemnization of marriage).

  1. Accomplished Application for Marriage Licence and Marriage Solemnization at Embassy
  2. Bride’s Certificate of Live Birth issued by PSA / NSO, authenticated by DFA (see note below)
  3. Bride’s Certificate of No Record of Previous Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by PSA / NSO, authenticated by DFA (see note below)
  4. Photocopy of Bride’s Philippine passport
  5. Groom’s Certificate of Live Birth issued by PSA / NSO, authenticated by DFA (see note below)
  6. Groom’s Certificate of No Record of Previous Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by PSA / NSO, authenticated by DFA (see note below)
  7. Photocopy of Groom’s Philippine passport
  8. Solemnization Fee: SGD 229.50, to be paid in cash
