From the name of the restaurant you can really tell it can satisfy you. Namnam is a modern Vietnamese restaurant that gives you a comfort and the feel of Vietnam culture from the interior to the store concept.
This week we decided to go outside our comfort food and since we never tried eating any Vietnam food, I pushed Alfred to join me. We went to their Wheelock store and we arrived there in cue. We waited for 5 minutes and finally we were able to order our food. I tried the Pho beef balls (SGD 8.90) and Alfred ordered Quang Style Egg Noodle (SGD 11.50) and we also tried their fresh southern rolls with prawn, fresh herbs, peanut sauce (SGD 5.20).
My husband told me that the Quang Style Egg noodle is good but nothing so special about it. He just loved how tender is the pork and dumpling is flavorful. For my Pho Beef Noodles what I love about it is the beef tastes fresh and juicy. The southern rolls is soo soo good that we enjoyed eating it until the last bite. Every flavor is distinct and have different texture. The combination was perfectly matched. I think for the price given the food up to is what we have expected and it’s definitely a must try restaurant.
